ANALYTICS & REPORTING

How we report: analytics you can actually act on.

Every Cyborg Media Tech engagement, Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, or web design, comes with reporting built to answer one question: is this working, and why.

Why most marketing reporting doesn't actually help

A lot of agency reporting is built to look impressive rather than to be useful, impressions, reach, and engagement numbers that go up regardless of whether the campaign is actually profitable. The metrics that matter most for a growing business are usually simpler and less flattering: Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), true ROAS, and customer lifetime value (LTV) relative to acquisition cost.

We report on the numbers that answer should we spend more, less, or differently here, not the numbers that are easiest to make look good.

What's included across every engagement

KPI & goal setup

Clear definition of what is actually being measured, set up correctly in GA4 and platform-level tracking before any optimization decisions are made from it.

MER, ROAS & LTV tracking

Marketing Efficiency Ratio alongside platform-reported ROAS, since the two can tell very different stories. Customer LTV tracked against acquisition cost to judge whether growth is actually profitable.

FAQ

MER is total revenue divided by total marketing spend across all channels, a broader efficiency measure than platform-reported ROAS, which typically only reflects what one ad platform can see and attribute to itself.
MER looks at total revenue against total spend across every channel, while ROAS is usually reported per-platform and can miss revenue influenced by other channels or organic traffic. Using both together gives a more complete picture.
Customer Lifetime Value, the total revenue a business can expect from a customer over the full relationship, not just the first purchase. It matters because a higher LTV can justify a higher acceptable cost-per-acquisition.
