Frequently Asked Questions
20 questions covering everything a serious business owner asks before hiring a paid advertising agency.
Results & Timeline
How quickly will I see results from paid advertising?
Most clients see meaningful data within the first 2–3 weeks. Measurable ROAS improvement typically appears between weeks 4–8, depending on your ad spend, product margin, and how much historical data your account already has. We set this expectation before we start — and our 60-day performance guarantee is built around it. Anyone promising results in week one is guessing.
Is a 4.7× ROAS realistic for my business?
4.7× is our average across eCommerce clients on Meta. Your actual target depends on your product margin, average order value, and current account health. On our strategy call, we will tell you what a realistic ROAS target looks like for your specific situation — not a number designed to close a sale. Some clients exceed 4.7×. Some start lower and build. We will not take you on if we cannot see a credible path to a number that makes business sense for you.
What happens if you do not hit the targets?
Our 60-day performance guarantee is straightforward: if we do not hit the performance targets we agreed on in your onboarding call within 60 days, you do not pay your management fee for month three. We define the targets together before we start — no moving goalposts, no small print. We offer this because we only take on clients we are confident we can help. If we cannot see a clear path to your target on the strategy call, we will tell you.
What does success actually look like after 90 days?
By day 90, a well-performing account should have a stable campaign structure generating consistent returns, a creative testing system producing at least one winning ad per month, conversion tracking accurate to 90%+, and a weekly reporting cadence you actually understand. The number that matters most — ROAS or CPL — should be measurably better than when we started. We agree this number upfront so there is no ambiguity about whether it worked.
Agency Selection
Why choose Cyborg Media Tech over a local UK or US agency?
Three reasons. First, we are a Meta Business Partner with £2.3M+ in managed spend — that is a verifiable credential, not a badge we designed ourselves. Second, we have a 60-day performance guarantee with defined targets. Most agencies do not offer this because they cannot back it up. Third, our remote-first model keeps our overhead low and our team senior. A local agency at the same price point is often staffed by juniors. Our clients in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia have 4.9-star reviews on Google. That is what matters.
How do I know your results are real?
Our Google Reviews are publicly verifiable at 4.9 stars. Our case studies show before-and-after numbers with specific platforms, timeframes, and client industries. We are a certified Meta Business Partner, which requires meeting platform performance thresholds — it is not a self-awarded title. On the strategy call, we will share our screen and walk through real account data. We do not ask you to take anything on faith.
We have been burned by agencies before. Why is this different?
We hear this on almost every strategy call. The pattern is usually the same: the agency overpromised, underdelivered, and hid behind vanity metrics when challenged. We do the opposite. We audit your account before the call so we arrive with specific findings, not a pitch deck. We set performance targets in writing before month one. We report on ROAS and CPL, not impressions and reach. And there is no lock-in contract — if we are not performing, you leave. That is the only accountability structure that actually works.
What happens if I am not happy with the service?
You cancel with 30 days notice. No penalty, no awkward conversations, no lock-in. We will prepare a full account handover so you have everything you need to continue with another agency or in-house. We think the only way to run a good agency is to make it easy to leave. Clients who stay do so because results justify it — not because they signed a 12-month contract they cannot escape.
Practicalities
What does your onboarding process look like?
Week one: full account audit. We pull apart everything you have run before, identify wasted spend, and document every problem in writing. Week two: strategy and build. New campaign architecture, audience structure, creative briefs, and conversion tracking setup or repair. Week three: controlled live launch with daily monitoring. Week four: first performance report delivered, optimisation cycle begins. You get a dedicated point of contact from day one and a standing weekly call every Friday.
How often will I hear from you and what does reporting look like?
Weekly performance reports every Monday — one page, three metrics: the number that matters, what changed, what we are doing next. A standing strategy call every Friday to walk through the data live. If something urgent happens mid-week, we message you the same day. We do not send reports with 40 screenshots and call it transparency. You will always know exactly where your account stands without needing a degree in data analytics to understand it.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your existing ad accounts and Business Manager or Google Ads MCC. Your website analytics access. A clear picture of your current margins, average order value or deal size, and revenue targets. If you do not have existing accounts, we set everything up. If your tracking is broken, we fix it. The strategy call is where we figure out exactly what is needed — you do not need to have everything prepared before you book.
How involved do I need to be on a day-to-day basis?
Minimal, by design. Once onboarding is complete, your time commitment is the weekly Friday call (30 minutes), reviewing the Monday report, and approving creative before launch. We handle everything else: strategy, execution, optimisation, reporting, and platform communication. Most clients tell us the biggest relief is not having to think about their ad accounts every day. That is the point.
Pricing & Commitment
What is included in your management fee?
Everything required to run a high-performing paid advertising account: full campaign strategy and architecture, audience research, creative briefing and direction, A/B testing, weekly optimisation, conversion tracking setup and maintenance, weekly performance reports, and a standing strategy call. We do not charge separately for ad creative production, account setup, or reporting. The management fee covers the full service. Your ad spend goes directly to the platforms — we never take a percentage of spend.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Your management fee covers everything listed above. Your ad spend goes directly to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or whichever platform we are running on — we never mark it up or take a percentage. The only additional cost you might encounter is ad creative production if you want us to produce video assets rather than just brief your designer. We will tell you exactly what that costs before you commit to anything.
Why is there a minimum ad spend of £2,000 per month?
Below £2,000 per month, the data volume is too low to optimise effectively. Algorithms need signal to learn. A/B tests need enough spend to reach statistical significance. At under £2,000, results become unreliable and often misleading. We would rather be honest about this upfront than take your money, underdeliver, and blame the budget. If you are currently spending less, the strategy call is a good place to discuss whether scaling up makes sense before we start.
What are your payment terms?
Management fees are invoiced monthly in advance on the first of each month. Payment is due within 7 days. We accept bank transfer and all major cards. Your ad spend is billed directly by the platform to your card — we never hold client ad budgets. We will send you a formal proposal with exact pricing before you sign anything. No surprises on the invoice.
Location & Markets
You are based in Pakistan — how does remote working affect your service to UK and US clients?
It does not affect results — and never has. Every client we work with is in the UK, US, Canada, or Australia. Our team communicates in fluent English, runs morning and afternoon availability windows that overlap with UK business hours and US east coast mornings, and delivers weekly reporting that is tighter than most UK-based agencies manage. Our 4.9-star Google Reviews are from real UK and US clients who were sceptical for this exact reason. Our location keeps our overhead low. We pass that efficiency on in our pricing. The results speak for themselves.
Which time zones do you cover and how fast do you respond?
We operate with overlapping coverage across UK (GMT/BST), US Eastern, and Australian Eastern time zones. For UK clients, our morning availability runs 9am–1pm GMT. For US clients, we cover 9am–1pm EST. For urgent issues — a campaign going wrong, a sudden budget spike — our response time is under two hours during business hours, same day outside them. You will never be waiting days for a response to a burning question about your account.
Technical
Do I need a dedicated landing page or will my website work as-is?
It depends on what we find in the audit. If your homepage converts well and has a clear single action, we can use it. More often, a dedicated landing page with one offer, one CTA, and no navigation distractions outperforms a homepage by 40–80%. We will tell you on the strategy call whether your current site is ready or whether a landing page is a prerequisite for results. If you need one, we can brief your developer with a detailed spec — or recommend a no-code solution if budget is a constraint.
What if my website is not optimised for conversions?
Driving traffic to a weak page is expensive and demoralising. We will flag any conversion rate issues we spot in the audit — slow load times, unclear CTAs, weak offers, broken tracking — and give you a prioritised fix list before we go live. We manage the ad side. Conversion rate optimisation on the page itself is your team’s responsibility, but we will tell you exactly what to fix and why. Most clients find that fixing two or three page issues in week two makes a measurable difference to results from week three onward.
